TEXARKANA, Ark. — Police are trying to locate a man for numerous violations of the sex offender registration program and stalking.
Orangie Lavell Rose, 49, of Texarkana, Arkansas, is wanted on Arkansas felony warrants of failure to comply with sex offender registration and second degree stalking, according to a news release from the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department.
He is also wanted on Texas warrants of failure to comply with sex offender registration with previous conviction and failure to appear on a possession of controlled substance charge.
Police encourage anyone with a warrant to turn themselves in to local law enforcement and allow the situations to be handled in court.
Rose was convicted of rape on March 19, 1996. This offense involved him engaging in sexual contact with a 5-year-old girl. Rose is a level-three sex offender in Arkansas.
Rose is 6 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds.
