The Prince Albert Predators ended their regular season this past weekend, and they ended it on a high note.

The Predators hosted the Regina Barracudas for a doubleheader to round out the regular season at Kinsmen Arena where they blew out the visitors 16-6 in game one, then doubled up Regina 18-9 in game two.

Head coach Lucas Wells said he was unable to attend the game but managed to watch them both online. Following the games, he said that he thought his team looked playoff ready.

“Talking to the other coaches, we moved the ball very well, played aggressive on defense and our goalies played really well,” he said. “What I did notice was we played a very complete game. Battle some adversity, that has been a theme for us this year. Trying to find any little inconvenience and using it as ‘adversity’. I thought those were two statement games as we will most likely play Regina in the semifinals this year.”
