
Registered sex offender from Oklahoma arrested for drug possession in Fort Smith
Fort Smith police say a registered sex offender from Oklahoma is facing charges of trafficking a controlled substance and a parole violation
Fort Smith police say they arrested a registered sex offender from Oklahoma in possession of a significant amount of illegal drugs. A release from the department says 47-year-old Xavier Haynes was caught with 5.1 pounds of meth, 1.1 ounces of cocaine, and THC products. They say he’s been charged with trafficking a schedule I/II controlled substance and a parole violation. He was arrested on Monday. He’s currently being held at the Sebastian County Adult Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.
