A registered sex offender is accused of burglarizing a home in Deerfield Township and attacking a woman inside while asking for her “little girl.”

The suspect, Adam Lee Ellington, 34, was indicted Monday in Warren County on multiple charges.

Ellington is a registered sex offender and lives in West Chester. According to prosecutor David Fornshell, the alleged victim was a stranger to Ellington.

According to investigators, Ellington broke into a home on Aug. 29, just before 5 a.m. The home is on Rich Road in Deerfield Township.

A woman inside the house who called 911 said he “beat her on the face with his fists, choked her with his hands.”

The alleged victim then said Ellington told her he wanted her little girl.

“He said, give me a gun, give me a gun, you (bleep) you (bleep) I’m going to kill you,” the woman told police. “Where’s your little girl? I want your little girl.”

Neighbors said there is no little girl living in that house, but that statement isn’t sitting well with some, given Ellington’s history.

In 2017, he was convicted of possession of child pornography with sexual motivation after being charged federally.

Ellington is listed as a registered tier-two sex offender.

In this most recent case in Deerfield Township, Ellington’s motivation is not clear to investigators.

The victim in the case was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries. Investigators have not said why they believe she was targeted at this time.

Ellington is scheduled to be arraigned in court on Thursday.
