Geneseo, N.Y. — A convicted sexual predator from Rochester was sentenced Thursday.
Jerry Merrill, 64, is set to serve 50 years to life in prison for sexually assaulting and raping two children in Geneseo on several occasions from 2009 to 2014.
He was convicted last month of two counts of predatory sexual assault against a child following a three-day jury trial.
