ST. MARYS – The St. Marys Area School District Board of School Directors conducted a financing discussion with PFM Financial Advisors LLC of Harrisburg during their Tuesday evening monthly workshop.
SMASD Superintendent Harley Ramsey stated the reason the district is having a conversation regarding finances are due to a few significant projects on the horizon, both of which center around safety issues. Updating of fire alarm systems at St. Marys Area High School and South St. Marys Street Elementary School are among those projects, estimated to cost a total of $1.1 million.
