It’s back to school for public schools this week.
In Knox County, South Knox and North Knox start Tuesday; Vincennes Community and Vincennes Catholic classes start Thursday.
With the return of schools opening; safety is a priority.
When driving watch for stopped school buses and kids walking to and from school and waiting at bus stops.
Be on the lookout for school zone signals and obey speed limits and all traffic laws and instructions especially went driving in school zones.
Those who walk to school should leave home early enough to arrive 10 minutes prior to the of the start of school.
Use the same route and avoid shortcuts and always use public sidewalks and streets.
