Savannah council candidates face questions of decorum on campaign trail | #childpredator | #kidsaftey | #childsaftey

When Alderwoman Alicia Miller Blakely asked the moderator to repeat a question at a recent forum, her opponent Pat Rossiter leaned over and flashed his legal pad. He had the question written down, saying he may forget it himself, Rossiter said to Blakely with a smile.

The two political opponents then shared a laugh.

“This is civility, you all,” Blakely said to the crowd.

The topic of civility and council decorum has become a consistent election topic through the bevy of candidate forums held over the past month, where candidates consistently have been asked about their ability to work with others on council.
