SPARTA, NJ – The Sparta Police Department donated Child Safety Kits to Alpine School on Wednesday. Cpl. Kurt Morris brought one kit for each kindergarten student, for Principal Joe Leone to distribute to the students.
The kit contains instructions and forms for parents to complete for their students as well as safety tips to be shared with children. The kit has parents take children’s fingerprints and follow other processes to collect identifying information.
The forms in the kit include a website where parents can get additional kits for other children in their families.
