The Security administrator will support the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) Combat Training Center (CTC) at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Will be responsible for providing Information Assurance (IA) knowledge for the Risk Management Framework (RMF) continuous monitoring requirements and other IA duties that are required across the enterprise.The security administrator will work closely with several different system administrators and be responsible for security administration of the associated systems across the enterprise.The security administrator will conduct auditing, analysis, and vulnerability assessments for the preparation of Certification and Accreditation (C&A), and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management activities. Security administration duties include, but not limited to Develop and maintain general IT security policies/drawings/Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Review/Audit Firewall/IPS/Systems Logs/Records , Update Antivirus/IPS Definitions/Signatures, Perform Continuous Monitoring Functions, Perform HBSS Updates ,Purge Audit/Backup Data older than 1 year, and Investigate SIEM Data/License/Alerts.Applicant must have a thorough understanding of DOD Directive 8500.1, 8570.1, DOD Instructions 8500.2, NIST 800-53 and Army regulation 25-2. The candidate will be skilled and proficient in Security Risk Assessments to include use of ACAS, SCAP, STIGs, Vulnerator, NIPPER, CMT requirements.
Ø4 years of related work experience
ØAdvanced Information Assurance Experience in the systems, database, and/or networking realms.
ØVersed in the ability to assist, develop, and implement information assurance/security standards and procedures.
ØExperience in security tools, analyzing findings, and generating documentation to reflect the security posture of the analyzed system
ØAbility to communicate the IA status and ability to assist in the collaboration on the necessary fixes to ensure the path to success
ØProven leader with documentation experience related to security administration functions
ØBe a highly self-motivated individual and team player with a solid work ethic and superior interpersonal skills.
ØPossess strong customer service skills and have a positive attitude.
ØBe able to work closely with others, or to work independently with little or no supervision.
ØMust be a US citizen and be able to obtain a U.S. DoD SECRET Security Clearance.Active Secret Clearance is preferred
