The state will be able to drive out critical funding to schools and present a more streamlined approach to school safety under a budget implementation measure approved by the Senate on Wednesday, said Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32).
“Today, through a great, bipartisan effort, we were able to pass legislation that would provide all-around support to students, at all education levels, across the commonwealth,” Stefano said. “This critical funding will increase school safety, aid struggling schools, invest in mental health programs and empower students to make the choices in their education that are right for them.”
