INWOOD—A 39-year-old man who claimed to be an Inwood resident was arrested about 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, on Lyon County warrants for failure to comply with sex offender registry requirements — second or subsequent offense and sex offender providing false information — second or subsequent offense.
The arrest of Christopher James Driesen stemmed from him registering that he was living at a residence on Maple Street in Inwood on June 4 when it was determined on June 12 that he had never lived at that address, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
Driesen was outside the required five-business day window to register a new address as a registered sex offender and his whereabouts were unknown, so a warrant for his arrest was issued June 13. He turned himself in to authorities the same day.
