Fox host Jesse Watters invited sex offender and former Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner on his show to defend President Joe Biden, after the conservative commentator said Biden’s only way out of impeachment is to resign.

Weiner, a former US representative and convicted sex offender, who now hosts a talk show with former New York City Mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa, debated Biden’s presidency with Watters.

‘I think Joe Biden is not a great spokesperson for anything,’ Weiner said. ‘He’s old, period. However, he’s going to be running against a guy who literally tried to overturn the election, who is probably going to be in court or indicted or in jail… it’s a choice and I think most Americans, if there’s a rematch are going to choose Joe Biden.’

The discussion came after Watters talked about the possible impeachment of Biden for his connection to his son, Hunter’s, business dealings.  On Tuesday, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy announced a formal impeachment inquiry against the president.

That led Watters to suggest Biden could resign by year’s end to avoid the embarrassment of an impeachment.

While Weiner – whose sexting with a 15-year-old girl led to a conviction as a sex offender – admitted ‘I have problems with Joe Biden,’ he feels the election is a binary choice between him and Trump.

‘The Democratic Party’s a mess, they’ve mismanaged our money, our border and our streets. Most Democrats won’t defend their performance on our show, but one brave Democrat did and we believe in second chances,’ said Watters.

Watters made multiple references to Weiner’s offenses during the interview, including when Weiner joked that he sometimes ‘went to bed’ during Watters’ show.

‘Don’t talk about bed and my show, Anthony, you’ve got a long track record.’

The host also mocked Weiner in introducing him but praised him for being willing to appear on the conservative network. As Weiner spoke of Biden, he admitted that he doesn’t like the current president.

Weiner then confessed that Biden ‘doesn’t like me either,’ which led to a bizarre response from: ‘A lot of people don’t like you… except me. I love you, Weiner.’

Weiner was reciprocally appreciative of Watters, calling him ‘a natural’ and congratulating him on taking over the 8 p.m. timeslot after Tucker Carlson was fired from the network.

The duo also debated transgender issues in schools, the crime wave in Democrat-run cities and immigration reform.

Earlier in the show, Watters was heavily critical of President Joe Biden and believed he was headed toward impeachment after the House GOP launched an inquiry earlier Tuesday.

‘Joe Biden’s legacy, his presidency and his family’s freedom and fortune are on the line,’ Watters claimed.

Watters believes information the inquiry uncovers – including his bank accounts and his ‘family spider-web of shells’ – will leave the president with only three options.

‘One: Biden resigns by the end of the year,’ Watters said. ‘Two: Biden and the Democrats tangle with the house, continue with the cover-up and expose the president even more, forcing the House to move to an official impeachment with months of televised hearings.’

Another option, he admitted, was potentially more positive for the Democrats: ‘Three, the impeachment inquiry stays an inquiry and drags out, making the Republicans look weak and foolish.

Weiner resigned as a congressman following a series of sexting scandals

Weiner had shocked the world with his constant sexting scandals, with one photo he shared depicting his crotch while lying next to his sleeping, then-four-year-old son

A decade ago, Wiener had initially blamed his infamous photos on a hack before admitting he sent the pic, and after running for mayor of New York City in 2013, Weiner admitted to sharing illicit photos with at least three women.

Many were shocked – including his ex-wife, former Hilary Clinton aide Huma Abedin – to see that among the messages he sent to other women included a picture of his crotch while lying next to his sleeping, then-four-year-old son.

Then in 2016, a 15-year-old girl told DailyMail.com that Weiner had been sending sexually explicit messages to her for months.

Federal investigators confirmed he had been sexting the minor and watching her strip via Skype and Snapchat, leading to a conviction of 21 months in prison in 2017.

The saga of Weiner’s downfall was heavily covered by the media, so many were quick to remember his story when they advised him to stay off Twitter.

Abedin held a position as the backup to Clinton’s aide for several years before assuming the role as personal advisor during her US Senate campaign in 2000.

She served as Clinton’s close personal advisor – valued for her insight on the middle east – up through her failed 2016 presidential bid.

Abedin started dating Weiner – then a congressman – in 2007. The pair were married in 2010, and their son, Jordan, was born the next year.

They announced their plans to separate in 2016 following years of embarrassing and criminal sexual scandal from Weiner. They are reportedly still finalizing their divorce.

Anthony Weiner’s many misdeeds

May, 2011 – While serving as a Democratic congressman from New York, Weiner was caught sending a sexually explicit photo of himself to a woman who was following him on his public Twitter account.

Weiner initially denied sending the photo for several days, but later held a press conference in which he admitted to sending it and others with ‘about’ six women over the previous three years.

June, 2011 – Another explicit photo of Weiner is leaked, leading to his resignation from Congress later at the end of June.

July, 2013 – While running for mayor of New York City during his return to politics, Weiner was caught sending explicit photos under the name Carlos Danger to 22-year-old Sydney Leatherse.

Weiner admitted to sending photos again to at least three women in 2012. Despite calls that he drop out of the mayoral race, he held a press conference with Abedin at his side where he announced his plans to remain.

He lost the election, earning just 4.9% of the vote.

August, 2016 – The New York Post reports that Weiner had sexted another woman, this time sending an explicit photo of himself while his young son was lying on the bed next to him. Weiner and Abedin announced their plans to separate the next day.

September, 2016 – Weiner is accused of sexting with a 15-year-old girl, and electronic devices – including his laptop – of his are seized in an investigation into the matter.

His laptop contained documents related to the Hillary Clinton email scandal. Spurned by the discovery of those documents, FBI director James Comey decided to re-open the probe into the Clinton email scandal eleven days before the 2016 presidential election. Clinton said Comey’s decision was one of the reasons she lost the election to Donald Trump.

May, 2017 – Weiner surrenders to the FBI and agrees to a guilty plea for one charge of transferring obscene material to a minor.

September, 2017 – Weiner is sentenced to 21 months in prison, with three years of supervision following his release

November, 2017 – Weiner begins his prison term

February, 2017 – Weiner is released from prison three months early for good behavior and is checked in to a half-way house in the Bronx

May, 2019 – Weiner is released from the halfway house.

Weiner has to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
