A convicted sex offender was only on probation for about a month before being charged with violating it.
Dallas Potter, 28, denied the alleged violation Monday in Rutland County criminal court. He pleaded guilty in April to charges of promoting a sexual recording and possession of child sex abuse materials in a deal that saw him sentenced last month to two to 10 years, suspended in favor of 10 years of probation. He was ordered held without bail.
