The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office arrested six sex offenders on new felony violations within eight days in late July and early August.
Randy Dewayne Turk, 51, who had been released from prison in 2017 after a sexual assault conviction, was arrested July 20 in Jamestown, Pennsylvania, and charged with seven counts of failure to register as a sex offender. He never report to the Alamance County Sheriffs Office to register after his release from prison, the sheriff’s office said. He was returned to Alamance County on Aug. 3. His bond was set at $50,000 secured.
