When it comes to dating apps, you either love or hate them.

Over the past few years, Tinder has become one of the places to meet potential lovers.

Now a radio host, from Australia, has a frightening tale about dating apps and it might just put you off.

Jana Hocking, 36, claimed Tinder was “dead” after recalling a horrific situation which encountered on the app.

In an honest piece for news.com.au, she wrote: “Tinder is dead. Yes, RIP Tinder. How do I know? Let me explain…

“At a recent girls’ dinner we were swapping stories and after a quick tally, it turns out Tinder stood out as the cesspit of f***boys.”

The 36-year-old says the man invited her to the party with the other women he was talking to

Jana added: “There was the guy I was dating for a month who had a party and decided to invite all the girls he had met on the app.

“It was like he was trying to host his own ‘Bachelor’ TV show, we just weren’t informed that we were the girls vying to be the winner.

“Once we all realised that we were all dating him, because as if we all weren’t going to find out.

“There was a mass exodus and plenty of grovelling texts from him afterwards. What a douche!”

The producer also spoke about her friend, who recently discovered her married step brother was on the app.

And another pal went on a Tinder date with a guy who was expecting a baby with his girlfriend.

She continued: “Tinder just feels like that seedy late-night bar people go to when they’re just looking for some action.

“These days you’re not only likely to run into a few ex boyfriends, but also your uncle or your newly-divorced former schoolteacher.”

She called her Tinder date a ‘douche’

And Jana warned using the dating app might not be enough for what you’re looking for.

She concluded: “We need an app that introduces us to more than just a picture of someone.

“Too many boring dates with someone who took a nice photo has taught us that.”
