Sony Responds To Congress About Hacker Attack

I’ll break down his answers to Congress about their security breach right now on Clevver Games. Hi everyone I’m Andrea Rene with the latest Playstation update. Earlier this week the United States Congress demanded answers from Sony corporation about their security breach that left millions of users private information in the hands of hackers. Sony’s Chairman drafted responses that were posted on the Playstation Blog outlining the company’s response to attack. He said in dealing with the cyber attack, Sony followed four key principles. One – act with care and caution – Two – Provide relevant information to the public when it has been verified – Three – Take responsibility for our obligation to our customers – and Four – work with law enforcement authorities. Sounds pretty common sense to me….he went on to say that the hackers planted a file in one of the Sony Online Entertainment servers named “Anonymous” and contain the words “We are Legion.” This is where it gets a little confusing. Clearly it appears that arch nemesis hacker group Anonymous must be responsible for the system shut down. Sony is certainly pointing the finger at them, but Anon came forward a few days after the attack to say “It wasn’t us!” Either someone is lying or making it look like a setup.
