Overnight on Sunday 22 August, a victim reported he had his home broken into at McLaren Vale and property was stolen including a white Mazda utility.
Sometime between midnight and 6am on Monday 23 August, a victim reported he had his property broken into and two motor vehicles were stolen including a Hyundai sedan and a Mitsubishi station wagon. The Hyundai was located crashed and abandoned at Tatachilla and the Mitsubishi was located dumped at Hackam.
Just after midnight on Tuesday 24 August, a home in McLaren Vale was broken into and the offenders attempted to steal the occupant’s car however they were unable to put it into gear and they ran off when the victim ran outside to confront them.
At 1.45am the same morning, residents at Seacliff were woken up after hearing noises in their home. The offenders ran off when the victim screamed. They stole the victim’s handbag, wallet and phone. The offenders were seen leaving the area in a dark coloured car similar to a small SUV. The victim’s property was located later in the day at College Park.
Police are asking residents in McLaren Vale and the southern suburbs to be vigilant and lock and secure their homes.
