Responsibilities: This position provides consultative support and analysis for the purposes of supporting, integrating, and enhancing information security posture related to Mayo’s ecosystem of people, processes and technology. Job duties include integrating multiple disciplines into the information security-based functions, including policy, process, and procedure development, business process analysis, data analysis, data informatics, systems analysis, risk management for strategic and operational planning and information security solution development and delivery. Displays an ability to identify and define problems as well as generate and implement potential solutions while involving appropriate people in the process. Provides project management and analysis support for complex enterprise projects. Consults with Mayo leadership to provide unbiased and accurate information, analysis and recommendations to support and advance strategic and operational initiatives for Mayo Clinic. Leads and participates in multidisciplinary teams evaluating strategic, operational, and financial aspects of the mission. Contributes to the enhancement of group effectiveness by exchanging information, collaborating with other team members, and providing constructive feedback. Creates and leads innovative processes to design, develop and recommend new approaches, methodologies and tools for data driven decision making and planning. Functions independently and initiates judgment in handling delegated responsibilities. Provides leadership to OIS Analyst Staff.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in information security, statistical analysis, computer science, business or other related field and 6 years’ experience to include several of the following areas: information security, consulting, operational analysis, process change, electronic systems implementation, leadership, systems analysis (manual and electronic) and project management with broad-based key enterprise initiatives. May also hold a bachelor’s degree in business, MIS, or other related field and have 10 years’ experience to include several of the following areas: consulting, operational analysis, process change, electronic systems implementation, leadership, systems analysis (manual and electronic) and project management with broad-based key institutional initiatives.
