SRVUSD To Host Cybersecurity Workshop | #hacking | #cybersecurity | #infosec | #comptia | #pentest | #ransomware

DANVILLE, CA — The San Ramon Valley Unified School District is hosting a cybersafety presentation to help parents and caregivers promote online safety. The event will cover topics like protecting identity, managing your online reputation and digital footprint, as well as navigating cyberbullying, sexting, and sextortion.

Presenters include Darryl Holcombe, Senior Inspector with the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office and Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce; and Kelly Volkar, Assistant United States Attorney.

The presentation is scheduled for Thursday from 6-7 p.m. in the SRVUSD Board Rooms at 66 Old Orchard Drive in Danville. Register here. The event will also be livestreamed and recorded on YouTube for those unable to attend.
