Details: Job Description:Â Â This position will perform as the Storage/EMC SA for Program with overall responsibility of Systems administration and maintenance of the storage subsystem architecture. Tasks include build, configure, document, integrate, test, troubleshoot and install large scale virtualized and bare metal SAN and NAS environments. Â Individual should possess knowledge and experience with storage technologies, performance, operations, and understand associated security aspects.Â DoD Secret security clearance is highly desired.Required Skills:Â Â Â Minimum of 6 years experience in Systems or IT engineering, Integration and Test, or related engineering disciplines Minimum of 5 years of experience testing, managing and administering NAS and SAN based storage network systems Experience utilizing MOSA, ITIL, DoDAF, Network Storage Services and SNIA Shared Storage Model standards Knowledge of intelligent disk systems, I/O technologies, file systems, virtualization, data protection (RAID, replication, mirroring, MAID), network backup, data/file encryption, archiving, disaster recovery, performance tuning, monitoring and storage as a service Must be able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally Qualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information. **U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance is required.Desired Skills:Â Â DoD Secret Security clearance highly desired Cloud, Virtualization and Data Center technologies, services and products Experience with Hitachi VSP and SGI storage products VMware VCenter/vCloud product suite Knowledge of ISP/ASP model and related SLAs ITIL knowledge/certificationRequired Education (including Major):Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Math, Physics or related Engineering field andÂ 6+ years of relevant experience OR 16 years of relevant experience, in LIEU of a Degree.
