The Primrose School of South Tampa Bicycle Rodeo featured a variety of engaging activities for children, including:

  1. Bicycle safety workshops led by Tampa Police Department officers, where they learned about helmet usage, traffic rules and the importance of proper bike maintenance.
  2. Bike obstacle course that simulated real-world riding scenarios, enabling children to apply the skills they learned during the workshops.
  3. Meet-and-greet with officers to foster positive relationships and encourage trust and respect towards law enforcement.

Each year, about 300,000 children (about half the population of Wyoming) visit the emergency room due to bicycle injuries. The bicycle rodeo aims to educate young children about bicycle safety while highlighting the positive impact of the Tampa Police Department.
