SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office is seeking out potential victims of a child predator after the suspect was arrested on Tuesday, Feb. 27.

The sheriff’s office executed a search warrant in the 4100 block of Ben Ficklin Road on Tuesday after developing a probable cause from information received from the Colorado Springs Police Department in Colorado. Homeland Security Investigations assisted in the search warrant.

The suspect, 27-year-old Juelz Armstead of San Angelo, was identified by the CSPD while conducting a child exploitation investigation. He was subsequently arrested for four felony warrants and one misdemeanor warrant out of Colorado.

The sheriff’s office previously investigated and arrested Armstead in December of 2022 for Possession of Child Pornography.

Multiple digital devices belonging to Armstead were seized during the search warrant. While conducting a lawful search of some of the devices,  the sheriff’s office was given reason to believe there may be other child victims of sexual exploitation.

If you believe you or your child may be a victim of Armstead, the sheriff’s office asks that you contact it or your local law enforcement agency and reference this investigation.

Armstead is currently held in the Tom Green County Detention Center with no bond.
