Thales said Tuesday that it has reached an agreement with software investment firm, Thoma Bravo for the acquisition of U.S.-based cybersecurity company Imperva.
The acquisition price is based on a $3.6 billion enterprise value, Thales said.
Thales said the closing of the transaction is expected by the beginning of 2024 and that the deal will generate around $110 million of pre-tax run-rate, cost and revenue synergies.
The acquisition allows Thales to target 6% to 7% annual organic sales growth at its digital identity and security business in 2024-27 and the company is targeting an 2027 earnings before interest and taxes margin of 16.5%, it said.
