SHENANDOAH, TX – On Wednesday, October 18, the City of Shenandoah will host a cybersecurity workshop at the Community Room of the Municipal Complex. Cybersecurity expert Scott Scheferman will talk about cybersecurity and what it means to you. All are welcome and questions are encouraged.

The following topics will be covered:

Scheferman keeps a hyper-current beat on the cybersecurity threat landscape and how it continues to fundamentally change cyber risk dynamics. He is currently principal strategist, office of the Chief Technology Officer, for Eclypsium, Inc. He will draw on his perspective from significant real-world, high-stakes (multi-billion dollar programs) experience, which includes years of ‘red teaming,’ incident response, and cyber consulting. He has served as the technical lead and final security risk determination for the Navy’s Certification Authority.

There is a parking lot on the south end of the Municipal Complex. Entry to the Community Room is down the long driveway on the west side of the building.
