This is a different kind of article. I’m focusing on “crazy” or “bizarre” laws that have been passed. These are some of the most “head-shaking” laws in America. The kind of laws that leave you saying “What?”. They are hard to believe they actually are on the books.
According to Delish, “There’s no doubt about it: There are some crazy, bizarre state laws that exist in the United States. Sure, they may have made sense when they were written, but today these truly weird state facts about American laws are enough to make anyone question why they were created in the first place — not to mention they make for some great random trivia to stump your friends! Who knew, for instance, that it’s illegal for a donkey to sleep in a bathtub in Arizona, or that you technically can’t send your friends a surprise pizza in Louisiana?”
It is amazing that some of these laws have not only been passed but that someone sat down and wrote out these crazy laws. Who thought these up? It’s amazing to think of how much time and money went into these silly laws.
So what is the craziest, most bizarre law in New Jersey? According to Delish, “Amended in 1999, this Garden State law prohibits people from wearing a bullet-proof vest while you’re committing — or attempting to commit — a crime. If caught, a person can be charged separately for it!”
Just a crazy and bizarre law. How much time was spent on this law in Trenton? You just have to shake your head lol
