Newly released security footage taken at a kindergarten in a northwestern suburb of Bangkok makes for unsettling viewing.
A female teacher walks among preschoolers and suddenly grabs a toddler by the back of his shirt and pulls him away in what appears to be an attempt to stop the boy from playing around with a girl.
In another clip, another staffer at the school lashes out a young child by hitting him suddenly. In yet another clip, a female teacher manhandles a student and drags him out of class.
And there is more. In an especially egregious incident caught on camera, a teacher at the school, which belongs to a privately owned chain of preschools and primary schools, is shown wrapping a clearly terrified two-year-old girl in a black plastic bag as punishment for some perceived misdeed.
