These are the dangerous North East rapists and sex predators who have been locked up in recent weeks
These rapists and sex predators have been handed prison sentences with a combined total of 99 years for their vile crimes.

While another denied three counts of rape before being found guilty by a jury. And one sex pest was recently sentenced after he indecently assaulted a teenage cricketer in his Gateshead home after a match in the late 90s as the youth waited to be picked up by his parents.
These are the dangerous North East rapists and sex predators who have been locked up in recent weeks.
Michael Woods has been put behind bars for 26 years after he sexually abused a woman.
A court was told Woods left his victim feeling alone, scared, and in her own words, “worthless”. Following an incident in which she ‘genuinely feared’ for her safety, the woman bravely contacted a trusted friend and told them what had happened.
After police were informed of Woods’ vile crimes, an investigation was launched by Durham Constabulary. Woods was charged with three counts of rape, which he denied.
But a jury sitting at Teesside Crown Court found him guilty of all charges and the 41-year-old, of Newcastle, has now been sentenced to 26 years in jail. Woods will serve at least 21 years in prison and was also handed an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and put on the Sex Offenders’ Register indefinitely due to his dangerousness.

He denied any guilt but was found guilty by a jury of his peers in July. And now he has been sentenced to 10 years behind bars.
