The Easy Hack For Organizing Your Cords And Chargers | #hacking | #cybersecurity | #infosec | #comptia | #pentest | #hacker

Before you start filling your shoe organizer’s pockets, you’ll need to first make sense of your cords, cables, and chargers. That means taking them all out of their designated box or drawer and organizing them. Mentally prep yourself for the sheer number of cords you’ve amassed over the years so you don’t get overwhelmed. Now, take a deep breath and begin untangling all the tangled mess. Once you’ve untangled everything, wrap individual cords in circles or figure-eight loops, and then tie them securely with a cable tie or elastic.

The final step of the hack is categorizing the cords and chargers for easier maintenance and placing them in separate pockets. Put the items you use more often at around eye level, with the heavy and rarely used items in the bottom pockets. If you’ve got a colorful shoe organizer, add labels to the pockets to make it easier to retrieve items quickly and to store them back. If you’ve opted for a sheer hanging shoe organizer like the one above, you can skip the labeling step.

As for where to hang your shoe organizer/cable-management system, you can hang it on the back of a door if you want it out of sight. Or, you could hang it near your desk if you frequently need cords and don’t want to get up whenever you want one. With it being so organized, it may even prove a design element for your space.
