This is the easiest winged liner hack for beauty beginners | #hacking | #cybersecurity | #infosec | #comptia | #pentest | #hacker

If there is one thing beauty beginners and professionally-trained makeup artists can *probably* all agree on, it’s that winged eyeliner can, somewhat, be a challenging task. And I know, I know, for the smug few, it may not take much practice but as for the rest of us (me included), well, we need a little more time. And patience. And a hefty few makeup remover pads to clean up the mess when we get it wrong.

So, when scrolling through my meme-filled TikTok FYP one night and abruptly ccme across a super easy eyeliner hack that could benefit not just me but the masses (doing God’s work, what can I say), I just knew I had to try it out. Beauty content creator, Bex is the genius mastermind behind the trick and her video tutorial has now racked up over 5 million views.

In the video, Bex instructs: “grab your pencil, black, brown, whatever you want. [Then] you’re going to put your finger right in the corner of your eye and where you can feel the pressure, that’s where you’re going to put your pencil liner”.

After applying a dot of pencil eyeliner onto her finger tip, she continues, saying : “We’re going to put it into the [outer] corner of your eye and pull out”.

Mind = blown.

Now, I must pre-warn you: I, personally, had not tried this hack out before. So, when I filmed my first attempt (as shown below), it was a genuine surprise to see such a success.

To achieve my swooped, snatched liner (even if I do say so myself), I used the Glossier No. 1 Pencil perfect glide eyeliner in shade Kiln, £14.

Now, I know you were probably expecting much more of an explanation but the only thing I would say is, of course, don’t pull on the skin around your eyes too hard. And that really is all from me, folks! The videos speak for themselves, really.

Happy gliding!
