Two doctors, chiropractor are first to lose licenses under new N.J. law on convicted sex offenders | #childpredator | #kidsaftey | #childsaftey

Two state boards have refused to renew the licenses of three practitioners who were convicted of felony sexual offenses under a new law signed by Gov. Phil Murphy last year, state documents and court records show.

Bryan Bajakian, Raymond Reiter and Farooq Rehman are the first three doctors to have their license renewals denied by state boards under the law, which prohibits the boards from granting or renewing the licenses of health care professionals who have been convicted of felony sexual offenses.

Attorneys representing Bajakian and Rehman did not respond to requests for comment.
