Undercover officer describes human trafficking sting – The Morning Sun | #childpredator | #kidsaftey | #childsaftey

Eric Rohman

A Bureau of Indian Affairs agent on Wednesday described to an Isabella County jury how a sting operation last year netted an alleged would-be child predator at a home on Main Street in Mt. Pleasant.

An officer who works mostly in undercover operations to root out human traffickers told jurors in Eric Gordon Rohman’s trial that he worked with many law enforcement agencies during stings last May and July designed to find people trying to solicit minors for immoral purposes.

Rohman, 42, of Mt. Pleasant is charged with three felonies – two counts of using a computer to commit a crime, and accosting children for immoral purposes – in connection with the undercover sting that involved multiple law enforcement agencies.
