TULSA, Okla. (KTUL) — The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education has approved the University of Oklahoma’s Polytechnic Institute’s first bachelor’s program in cybersecurity.
Recruitment has begun and the program is expected to start in fall 2024.
The OU Polytechnic Institute is a new school in Tulsa that provides bachelor’s completion and graduate programs for cybersecurity, data science, software development, medical informatics, and advanced mobility/manufacturing.
The OUPI at OU-Tulsa focuses on high-demand and advanced technology education.
The added cybersecurity program is designed to meet the changing academic and workforce needs of Tulsa by working with local industry partners.
