The Watertown Police Department is currently seeking information to help them locate two individuals suspected of credit card fraud.
The Watertown Police Department has active arrest warrants for Erica Saucier, 27, and Christopher Main, 26; both of a last known address of 33 Oak Stree in Thomaston.
According to police, Ms. Saucier was identified as stealing a pocketbook from a carriage at the Stop & Shop on Straits Turnpike. The pocketbook contained personal items, $170 in cash, an iPhone, wallet and various credit cards. Ms. Saucier fled the store and left in a uHaul box truck rented by Main.
Police say that on the day of the theft and in subsequent days, Ms. Saucier and Mr. Main were captured on video surveillance at numerous stores in Waterbury, making charges and attempting charges in the victim’s name. The stores include CVS on Chase Avenue, CVS on West Main Street, Walgreens on West Main Street and Webster Bank on Reidville Drive.
Ms. Saucier is wanted on the charges of fourth-degree larceny, theft of a credit card, illegal use of a credit card, three counts of identity theft, four counts of Criminal impersonation, two counts of sixth-degree larceny and criminal attempt at at fifth-degree larceny.
Mr. Main is wanted on the charges of conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit theft of credit card, conspiracy to commit i llegal use of credit card, three counts of conspiracy to commit identity theft, three counts of conspiracy to commit criminal impersonation and two counts of conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny.
