Noida: On Thursday, the website of a notable private school in Noida reportedly fell victim to hacking by an unidentified group that identified itself as ” Muslim hackers from Bangladesh .” A message displayed on the website’s homepage included the phrase, “When liberty is at risk, expect us.”

The matter came to light late in the night, with the police saying they were yet to receive any complaint in this regard.

“We are Bangladeshi Muslim hacker’s never try to mess our cyberspace. We oppose oppression where we are, we represent freedom, we are simple evolimion of the technological system when liberty is at risk …expect us… (sic),” read the message on the school’s website.

The website showed the national flag of Bangladesh . The hackers signed off messages with ” Joy Bangla ” and “Bangladesh” written after them followed by multiple code names.

The hacking incident follows closely after a recent report by a cybersecurity company, indicating that a hacktivist collective identified as “Mysterious Team Bangladesh,” has executed numerous distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks starting from June 2022.

Reportedly motivated by religious and political objectives, the group has targeted various sectors within India, as highlighted in the findings published by Group-IB, the cybersecurity firm.
