Woman Arrested For Identity Theft, Forgery In South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR — A Wethersfield woman was arrested in connection with an identity theft and forgery incident from earlier this year, police said.
Kristen Kelleher, 33, of 49 Garden St., was arrested on a warrant Monday, according to Lt. Scott Custer.

Custer said a complaint was issued in April that she had stolen $1,650 from a local elderly woman who had hired Kelleher to clean her apartment. Family members said Kelleher had forged several checks to make them out to herself and cashed them, Custer said.
