A woman was reportedly sexually assaulted after a night out with friends in Bridgwater. Investigating officers from Avon and Somerset Police have released an image of a man they would like to identify in connection with their investigation.
The alleged sexual assault took place on Saturday, June 17. The victim had been out with friends when she met an unknown man at around 3am.
He then reportedly sexually assaulted her as they walked through Kings Square. Police are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.

The man pictured is white, around 5ft 8in tall, of average build with a goatee and brown hair. He is seen wearing a black cap, black jumper, black jogging bottoms and black trainers.
Avon and Somerset Police said in a public appeal: “If you recognise the man pictured, or were in the area and recall seeing anything suspicious, please contact us.
“If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5223148572, or complete our online appeals form.
“You can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100 per cent anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form.
“No personal details are taken, information cannot be traced or recorded and you will not go to court or have to speak to police when contacting Crimestoppers.”
