PARKERSBURG –The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 6-9:

* Matthew Dean Cooper, 556 Blennerhassett Lake Rd., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to failure to follow traffic control devices, having no seat belt and fined $221.48.

* Selina Ann Duley, 1110 1/2 17th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and having no operator’s license and fined $362.96.

* Kimberly A. Vitruls, 2212 12th Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no seat belts and fined $25.

* Rebecca Jean Powers, 910 Virginia Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense shoplifting and fined $201.48. She was ordered to pay a $50 civil penalty to Kroger on Seventh Street in Parkersburg.

* Nathan William Wix, 1217 Ann St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $181.48.A charge of having no proof of insurance dismissed.

* Levi William Barker, 4301 10th Ave. Apt. 101 B, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to not having a child safety seat and no proof of insurance and fined $562.96. Charges of improper registration, having no operator’s license and another charge of having no child safety seat were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Jessica Lynn Burnside, 1961 Sugar Camp Road, Mineral Wells, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and fined $276.48. A charge of having no proof of insurance was dismissed, per a plea agreement. She also pleaded guilty to having no insurance and fined $376.48. A charge of improper registration was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Zachary Joseph Delizzio, 1337 Covert St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to assault of a police officer and trespassing, fined $372.96 and sentenced to 60 days in jail with a credit of five days for time served. Charges of fleeing from an officer and disorderly conduct were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Travis Ray Canaday, 1914 1/2 Pride Ave., Clarksburg, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (Meth), fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation. A charge of public intoxication was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Mahala L. Richards, 2305 Oak St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of being a fugitive from justice out of Washington County, Ohio, for a charge of failure to appear for a final pretrial hearing ordered by the court on an original charge of theft. She is being held on no bond and awaiting a hearing in Wood County Circuit Court. She was also arraigned on charges of conspiracy, fleeing, possession, obstruction, shoplifting and trespassing and made $5,000 bond.

* Shawn Nicholas Smith, 405 13th St. Apt. C, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of attempt to commit burglary and released on $50,000 bond.

* Ricky Lee Andrew Brooks, Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of second-degree robbery and held on $300,000 bond.

* Matthew A.P. Daugherty, 1412 23rd St., Vienna, was arraigned on charges of shoplifting and driving on a suspended license and released on $1,000 bond.

* Ryan Bruce Dick, 1911 Neal St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no proof of insurance and improper registration and released on $500 bond.

* Aaron Matthew Ewing, 47 Gihon Meadows Dr. #132, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance, registration violation and driving on a suspended license and released on $1,500 bond.

* Spring Diane Stoops, 877 Dry Run Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of violating a personal safety order, air pollution, open dump and open burn of refuse and released on $3,000 bond.

* Christopher Keith Parker, 2006 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Donald Monroe Anderson, 2599 Meadowview Dr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of obstruction (two counts), disorderly conduct and possession of a controlled substance and released on $1,500 bond.

* Autumn Marie Bailey, 1120 Fox Ave., Harrisville, was arraigned on charges of receiving/transferring stolen goods and released on $3,000 bond.

* Aaron Sean Davis, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of trespassing in a placard structure, obstruction and violation of a domestic violence protection order and held on $3,000 bond.

* Gary Paul Barker, 817 Lenore St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of possession of Meth and possession of Alprazolam and released on $1,000 bond.

* Thanxton Michael Ballengee, 736 Greene St., Marietta, was arraigned on charges of failure to maintain control and having no insurance and released on $1,000 bond.

* Steven Curtis Balderson, 1715 Elizabeth Pike, Mineral Wells, was arraigned on charges of speeding and having expired registration and released on $1,000 bond.

* Andrew Neil Hitt, 436 Cumberland Road, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of having no insurance, expired registration, no MVI and having defective equipment and released on $2,000 bond.

* Randy Duane Holstein, 1028 Avery St. Apt. 1, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of assault on a government employee (two counts), obstruction and disorderly conduct and released on $3,000 bond.

* Dana Lee Kelley, 907 Pearl St., Harrisville, was arraigned on two counts of third-offense shoplifting and held on $100,000 bond.

* Mark Andrew Ramsey, #1 Lois Lane, Greenwood, W.Va., was arraigned on charges of possession with intent to deliver Meth and possession with intent to deliver Heroin and held on $300,000 bond.

* Caiden Lee Burke, 2608 26th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of violating a domestic violence protection order and released on $2,000 bond.

* Rafael Russell Delgado, 2106 17th St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on two counts of shoplifting and released on $1,000 bond.

PARKERSBURG –The following cases were handled in Wood County Magistrate Court on Oct. 10:

* Daniel Armando Banales, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to false reporting an emergency and fined $176.48 and sentenced to six months in jail which was credited for time served.

* Richard Allen Moore, 2413 Clement Ave., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to second-offense driving on a revoked license, fined $1,176.48 and sentenced to six months of home confinement. He had a charge of third-offense driving on a revoked license for DUI dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Nicholas Alan Taylor, 2619 Neale St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to battery of a government employee and/or medical personnel, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and one year of unsupervised probation with a credit for seven days credit for time served. He had a charge of obstruction dismissed, per a plea agreement. A charge of trespassing was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Christopher William Browning, 54460 St. Rt. 681, Reedsville, had a preliminary hearing waived on a charge of fleeing in a vehicle for reckless indifference. The case was sent to Wood County Circuit Court.

* Destiny Nevach McAfee, 1252 Gihon Road, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance without a valid prescription, failure to maintain control, fined $377.96 and sentenced to 90 days in jail which was suspended and she was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. Charges of driving a vehicle without the required security and having restricted licenses were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Nicholas Alan Taylor, 2619 Neale St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to making a false statement to an officer, fined $176.48 and sentenced to 40 days in jail which was suspended and he was placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a credit of seven days for time served. A charge of public intoxication was dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* David Eugene McNeill, 1909 36th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to having no operator’s license and no proof of insurance and fined $562.96. He had charges of driving on a suspended license and having no insurance dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Edward Dale Bailey, 508 19th St., Vienna, pleaded guilty to destruction of property, fined $671.48 and sentenced to 60 days in jail. He had a charge of battery dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Joseph Wayne Carpenter, 107 A Edgelawn St., Lot 23, Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to driving on a suspended license and no proof of insurance and fined $652.96. Charges of operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and expired registration were dismissed, per a plea agreement.

* Todd Patrick Verdill, 2993 Dutch Ridge Rd., Apt. 10, Parkersburg, had a charge of driving on a revoked license for DUI dismissed after he got a valid license. The state did not object.

* Anthony Jared Pease, 8 Mountaineer Circle, Ravenswood, pleaded guilty to hunting/fishing without a license and fined $196.48.

* Rex Franklin Hutson, 1319 16th St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to fleeing, fined $186.48 and sentenced to 30 days of home confinement. A charge of acts prohibited by an operator (road) was dismissed.

* Hallee Austin Guthrie, Parkersburg, had a charge of domestic battery dismissed without prejudice after the alleged victim wished for the case to be dismissed.

* Logan Gene Bowman, 694 Champion School Rd., Belleville, pleaded guilty to unauthorized headlight color and fined $181.48.

* Joshua Shawn Cayton, 496 Walker Lane, Washington, pleaded guilty to speeding and fined $191.48.

* Kayla Marie Shaffer, 57 Simon Lane, Washington,, pleaded guilty to having no operators license and operating a vehicle without an inspection certificate and fined $362.96.

* Christine Carol Hawkins, 210 Franklin St. Unit 2A, Marietta, pleaded no contest to having no seat belt and fined $25.

* Kevin Wayne Ross, 508 Edgelawn St., Parkersburg, pleaded guilty to speed limitations and fined $196.48.

* Matthew Taylor Henriksen, 196 Royal Induian Dr., Mount Ulla, N.C., pleaded no contest to speeding and fined $186.48.

* Brian Michael Sams, 451 Alpine St., Mineral Wells, was arraigned on a charge of entering without breaking and held on $50,000 bond.

* Krystal Lashe Cook, 119 Willowbrook, Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of second-offense driving on a suspended license, second-offense shoplifting (two counts), having no proof of insurance and trespassing and held on $5,000 bond.

* Robin Louise Scott, 5 Wharton Dr., Parkersburg, was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and released on $500 bond.

* Joel Conrad Alontae Greer, 67 Myriah Dr., Martinsburg was arraigned on charges of public intoxication and trespassing and released on $250 bond.

* Otis Miseal Brewster, 4501 1/2 Packard St., Parkersburg, was arraigned on charges of fleeing, having no insurance and hit and run and released on $4,000 bond.
