WREXHAM MP Sarah Atherton has launched a cyber security guide to raise awareness of cyber fraud and help people stay safe online.
In addition to creating a safe password, the guide includes subjects such as what residents can do if they spot an online scam or fraud, how to stay safe whilst shopping online and how to spot a scam email.
Sarah Atherton MP said: “Since the outbreak of coronavirus, we are spending more time at home and online.
“Unfortunately, criminals are taking advantage of the situation and are seeking to scam innocent people.
“For many, the internet has become an integral part of their lives, from keeping in contact with family and friends, to staying up to date with the latest advice.
“I have put together this guide with useful tips to help residents stay safe online during this difficult period.”
