Slow hunting reported
Since cold weather did not produce the expected good deer hunting in Manistee County during the first few days of the season, hunters hoped today that continued warm weather would put the deer “on the move” and make runway watching more productive.
A number of local hunters made their kills yesterday but for the most part hunting remained slow.
