TUSCARAWAS COUNTY
* One man was arrested after assaulting another man at a group home on Eastport Road SE near Midvale on Sunday.
* An adult was arrested after a domestic dispute Saturday in the 1800 block of E. High Avenue near New Philadelphia.
* A report will be sent to the prosecutor about a woman’s claim that a man assaulted her in the 5200 block of N. Wooster Avenue Extension NW near Dover. She said he hit her with his fist. A deputy did not see discoloration around her eye.
NEW PHILADELPHIA
* A catalytic converter was reported on Monday to have been stolen from a school van sometime in the last three months at Woody Hayes Quaker Stadium.
* Police recovered a pocket knife and cell phone charger stolen from Menards on Sunday evening. The suspect and a companion were found at 12th Street and Maple Avenue NW. Both were banned from the store.
* A small child wandered into Circle K from a nearby home On Sunday. Police told the mother about the danger of not watching the child, who reportedly stole something from the store.
NEWCOMERSTOWN
* Thefts were reported Saturday on E. Canal and N. College streets.
* Vandalism was reported early Saturday on Pearl Street.
