LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Two men were indicted by a Lubbock grand jury on Tuesday in connection with a child predator sting operation earlier this year.
Jose Arredondo indictment
Jose Arredondo, 55, is charged with online solicitation of a minor. He was one of five people arrested in March during “Operation Four Leaf Felony.”
Jose Salazar indictment
Jose Salazar, 39, was also indicted Tuesday in connection with the same operation. He is also charged with online solicitation of a minor.
According to LPD, Salazar contacted an undercover DPS investigator that he thought was actually a 16-year-old girl. Detectives said he continued the conversation thinking that he was talking to a minor.
Salazar was arrested when he went to meet the undercover agent with the intent to have sex.
