WEST FRANKFORT, Ill. (WSIL) — The West Frankfort Police Department responded to a report of possible solicitation to meet an underage child on May 31.
Officers with the West Frankfort Police Department said they spoke with Alex Rosen, creator of the social media platform “Predator Poachers,” who said he conducted an investigation involving a male subject intending to meet a young child for a sexual act.
Rosen said he captured evidence and confessions on audio and visual recordings, according to police.
Officers with the West Frankfort Police Department stated the individual, identified as 21-year-old Collin P. Maguire from Bloomington, Illinois, was taken to the West Frankfort Police Department for processing.
Maguire was taken to the Franklin County Jail. According to online court records, he faces charges of indecent solicitation of a child, traveling to meet a minor and grooming.
