PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Five people were arrested in Washington County after investigators posing as minors online in an undercover sting targeted people who attempted to meet a child for sex, authorities said on Thursday.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Hillsboro Police Department said they conducted a child predator sting using multiple online outlets to pose as minor children. Authorities said various users were contacted, and when individuals arrived to meet with a minor or take significant steps to meet a minor, they were arrested.

Officials believe there may be more victims of these individuals. Anyone with more information is asked to call police.
