BRISTOL, Tenn. (WCYB) — Eight men have been charged in a Bristol, Tennessee Police Department operation that is targeting suspected online predators, authorities said Monday.
According to police, the suspects in each case engaged in conversations of an explicit sexual nature with detectives posing as a female under the age of 18.
Authorities added in some cases, suspects also sent or requested nude photographs and made arrangements to meet the supposed juvenile for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity when they were arrested by detectives.

June 30 – Ryan A. Hodge, 41, Bristol, Tenn.

June 30 – Brandon M. Castle, 29, Bristol, Tenn.
-Solicitation of a minor
-Patronizing prostitution of a minor
July 2 – David A. Carter, 47, Lebanon, Va.
-Sexual exploitation of a minor via electronic means
-Solicitation of a minor
July 8 – Joseph M. Collins, 35, Gray, Tenn.
-Sexual exploitation of a minor via electronic means
-Solicitation of a minor
July 10 – Romeo D. Taylor, 25, Bristol, Va.
-Sexual exploitation of a minor via electronic means
-Solicitation of a minor
July 15 – Timothy A. Foley, Jr., 44, Bluefield, Va.

-Solicitation of a minor
-Patronizing prostitution of a minor
This operation, led by the BTPD Criminal Investigations Division, previously resulted in the arrests of six other suspects in May and June of this year.
