Fox40 — Sacramento resident Gledel Arthur Beacham Jr. was arrested on charges of child abuse, sexual assault, production of child porn, and kidnapping Friday by the Yuba City Police Department.
Officials began investigating Beacham after they received a call about a sexual assault involving him and an underage victim he met online on May 4th.

Beacham groomed the victim through chatting and met with the victim in Yuba City on at least three occasions and sexually assaulted the victim.
According to Yuba City police, the investigation unit wrote multiple search warrants and reviewed hours of video surveillance to identify Beacham. A warrant was obtained, and information regarding Beacham was sent out to several local agencies in an attempt to locate him.
The Elk Grove Police Department, with the assistance of its FLOCK system, located Beacham’s vehicle. He was arrested in an apartment complex and was booked into the Sacramento County Jail.
Arrangements are being made to transfer Beacham to the Sutter County Jail to face prosecution by the Sutter County District Attorney.
The investigation is still ongoing; his bail is set at $750,000.
