AUTAUGA COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – An Autauga County schoolteacher was arrested Saturday in connection with an investigation that targeted five online child predators, according to the Prattville Police Department.

Brian Pittman was charged with one count of electronic solicitation of a child and traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act.

Prattville police arrested five men during a recent investigation targeting online child sexual predators. Aron Clay, Kircharr Black, Jermaine Lyles and Jeffrey Beasley were also arrested and charged with one count of electronic solicitation of a child and traveling to meet a child for an unlawful sex act.

At the time of his arrest, officers discovered Pittman was a teacher at Prattville High School; however, the arrest did not involve a student.

All suspects are being held at the Elmore County Jail on $90,000 bond each.

WSFA 12 News received a district statement from Autauga County Schools.

Additional charges may be pending as this is an ongoing investigation.
