Yeshiva World News hacked: ‘Now we are in control’

NEW YORK (PIX11) — A popular Jewish online news publication was hacked and defaced on Wednesday.

Yeshiva World News (theyeshivaworld.com) was defaced with Persian messaging on its homepage, as well as the website title on Google search.

The text translates to “Now we are in control. [antisemitic epithet].”

PIX11 News chose not to repeat the full quote due to its antisemetic nature.

The website’s homepage was changed to say “WE WILL BE BACK SHORTLY THANK YOU” on Wednesday, as reported by JFeed.
