The Blount County Sheriff’s Office has arrested four people following a coordinated undercover sting operation aimed at online child predators. This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts by the Sheriff’s Office to safeguard the children of Blount County from exploitation and harm.

During the multi-day operation, investigators posed as minors and engaged with suspects who intended to commit sexual acts. Upon attempting to meet the “child,” the suspects were apprehended without incident.

The individuals arrested and charged include Stephen King, Kelly Blansit, Thomas Bryant, and Bradley Migues. Each faces charges of traveling to meet a child for a sexual act, electronic solicitation, and, in some cases, human trafficking.

Sheriff Mark Moon emphasized the importance of these operations, stating, “Our children are among our most vulnerable, and we will use every resource available to identify, track, and arrest individuals who attempt to exploit them. These operations send a clear message: if you target a child in Blount County, we will find you and we will arrest you.”

The Sheriff’s Office remains committed to conducting proactive operations and urges parents to monitor their children’s online activities. Anyone with information about suspected online exploitation is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office immediately.
