Oasis Security CEO Danny Brickman on Securing Access Control and Machine Identities

Danny Brickman, co-founder and CEO, Oasis Security

Agentic AI is forcing fundamental changes in identity and access management. Traditional systems built for human users can’t support the rapid rise of machine identities and autonomous agents across enterprise environments, said Danny Brickman, co-founder and CEO at Oasis Security.

Access now defines the value and risk of AI agents. Organizations want to unlock productivity gains, but often grant excessive permissions without proper oversight. CISOs face limited visibility into agents and how they operate. This gap creates urgency for new governance models that prioritize control and adaptability, Brickman said.

“An agent is as good as the access that is being granted to it. An agent without an access basically means nothing. An agent with a full access to your enterprise data has the full potential value given to the organization,” Brickman said.

In this video interview with Information Security Media Group at RSAC Conference 2026, Brickman also discussed:

  • How agentic AI requires a shift from role-based to intent-based access control;
  • Why machine identities are expanding rapidly and reducing visibility for security teams;
  • Session-based access and guardrails help balance innovation with risk

Brickman founded Oasis Security in 2022 to help organizations manage and secure non-human identities. He previously was head of cyber research and development for the Israeli Defense Forces where he spent seven years in software and cybersecurity.
